Longer Cable for SX20 to 12X camera

Looking at Cisco's information/documentation I do not see an option for a longer cable from the standard 3meter cable that comes with the SX20 12X bundle.

Need about 2 more meters to do the cable fishing.

1) is there a thrid party cable that will work and still provide power to the Camera?

or

2) Can I just extend the RJ45 with a straight thru Cat5 cable and find an HMDI to HDMI cable to extend it just a bit?

Thanks for the assistance.

While not an officially supported solution, and you'll have to revert back to the original, unextended, cables for any support if you start having problems, yes, you can extend the cables with a normal Cat6 cable and an HDMI extension cable.  You may find though that there is too much voltage drop to power the camera for longer distances.  If this is the case for your installation, you will need to use an external power supply for the camera.  It's also recommended if using an external power supply that you don't connect the power conductors in the control cable.

See this thread for some examples of other people who have extended the HDMI and control cables.
