Hi,
Video codec and Cisco TelePresence C40 camera CTS-PHD-1080P12S located in different rooms. Is it possible to control the codec (with remote control) via the IR port of the camcorder? Is it possible to control the camera through the IR port of the codec?
Thank you.

Hi.
You can turn on the IR sensor on the camera by running this command from the CLI.
xConfiguration Cameras Camera 1 IrSensor: On
You control the IR sensor on the unit by running this command
xConfiguration SystemUnit IrSensor: Auto
When it is on "Auto" you the IR is turned ON on the codec, when the CAMERA sensor is OFF
Thanks

Marius.....
Our end-user wants to use the hand-held remote in the Control Room to pre-setup some call information......however they
would also like to have the IR sensors on the Camera active as well. When we toggle the SystemUnit IrSensor setting to
"Auto" the Camera IR sensor turns "Off".
Thanks.......
