Media Port Mode on a MSE 8510

Hi,

I would like some confirmation, currently we have one Blade in our MSE 8510 and the Media Port Mode is set to HD.

• This means we have 20 HD Video Ports available (So 20 endpoints will be able to connect )
• We also have 20 Dedicated streaming ports.
• Lastly we have an additional 20 Voice Ports.

The problem is we have a meeting that will need 26 Video Ports, if I set it to SD we have about 40 SD Video Ports. But no Content ports or audio ports.

Will this mean if 26 endpoints connect I will have 14 ports left and the audio and content ports will start using my video ports ?

Should I be fine to connect 26 people on my MSE 8510 and with about 10 people connecting via audio and all endpoints will be receiving content.

Yes, if you share content, you will consume one video port, same thing for an audio only participant that connects to the conference.
