Modem over IP

Hello to you all.

I am having problems on getting Modem over IP work.

I want to use those Visa Credit Card Machines at a remote location and transmit it`s data using out VoIP infrastructure. I configured modem pass-through using g711alaw as codec because on main office we have a E1 line.

The Visa machina connects but the connection is lost after a few minutes.

Have you configured Modem Pass-Through successfully?

Have you tried configuring modem relay? Passthrough and relay both work the same, passthrough gives a few more options.

You can refer to the following example for pass-through. Check if you have missed out something.

Actually I have tried both, but with similar results, the connection is established but it is droped after a while.
