MX300 TC6.0 Layout for remote participants

HI,

Customer has MX300 registered to CUCM 8.6.2a. They use TP Server for multi-point calls. They are reporting that the setting available on the Touch panel, "Layout for remote participants" does not actually change the view. After digging into this a bit, I'm stil uncertain of this functionality. The TC5 user guide seems to infer that this is only available in a MULTISITE or point to point call.

Can anyone confirm this functionality and its limitations?

The TP server would control the layout on a conference that it's hosting.  Not sure if there's any way to manipulate this via the endpoint - you might need to do it from the web GUI or TMS.

Hello,

Although in MCU/TPS Call, the Layout always are over-rided by the Bridge, However , you can always play with the Endpoint to choose the layout you want.

My Suggestion would be to go upgrade the MX to TC 6 for better choice of the layouts.

Hi,

In an MCU/TPS conference you can still change the layout using FECC controls from particular endpoint
