Opinions on low cost endpoints such as Cisco SX10, Polycom Group Series 300, StarLeaf GT mini and Aver ClassHD
We are looking into several option for low cost endpoints, especially for schools, which give a marked improvement on PC software and a webcam, but don't cost the earth.
With Cisco impending arrival of the SX10, I wondered if anyone out there has managed to get their hands on this as yet.
We do like the Polycom Group Series 300 and we have recently ran an extended demo of the Aver ClassHD, which although could be interesting and is being aggressively pushed in the UK, is a little rough around the edges and does suffer from some issues.
However, I have to say that I have been blown away by the products from StarLeaf (formally the team that brought you Codian ). These products look simply brilliant and I haven't been so enthused by technology in many a long year. We are hoping to demo this for an extended period soon.
