Profile 65 camera - constantly moving (error)

Hi.

We have one new system that has a very strange camera behaviour.

The camera in selfview and in a connection is constantly shaking and moving. Camera controls do not work, the camera moves back to the default position quickly.

I have checked the serial connection and cannot find a faulty connection.

The TC version is shipping version 6.0. Profile 65 with C60 codec.Camera is 12x.

Does anybody had this alreaday and maybe can give me a hint how to fix it?

Many thanks and regards

Danny

Hi Danny,

The camera may be faulty however before concluding it to be faulty we ned to be sure of few things

response of "Xstatus camera" command on CLI - to see if the camera is detected by the codec or not

did that camera ever worked fine since installed if yes then

do you see a selfview?

when you point the remote do you see the IR blinking

if no

are the connection proper at the back of the camera and the codec?

can you take off the camera from the mounting and place it on a table and see if there is any change

we can try re enforcing the same camera software on the codec via command line,

Camera upgrade command

log in as admin

sys-f

com camvisca 0 swload /mnt/base/active/rover.pkg

please share xstatus and xconfig logs just to check the standby/sleep  time.

if you have any issue on command line open a TAC case.

hope this helps

Thanks

Hi Ravi.

Appreciate your help and advice. Many thanks.

Yes, the camera worked initially fine for a short while. But now I have now way to control her anymore...

I can see a clean picture and selfview works fine. Just the constant shakeeing is horrible...

Let me do your steps right away tormorrow morning. This is a good way to start. Let you know the outcome.

Kind regards

Danny

Ravi.

I would say that the "connected" would indicated a working communication?

The camera upgrade command seems to have changed in TC6? Would not work like that.

But I think I rather forward this to a TAC.

Thanks for your help.

Regards

Danny

Hi Ravi.

No worries. Appreciate your update and help. Not sure, what it was but we were not able in the shell.

Anyway, thanks to you I could forward all logs to the TAC and RMA is on the way. A new Rover to the familiy... :-)

Cheers
