Question on ISDN LINK

Dear Expert

I have an SX20 with TC6.0 and ISDN LINK with 1.1, Can I able to make a ISDN voice call on it?

I able to make a video call but can't make a ISDN voice call, like dialing to a phone via ISDN

Hi Tung,

You should be able to receive Audio call .

"but it can't pick up the incoming call from phone via the ISDN number" - Make unit in auto answer and see are you able to receive it ?

If you still face the issue then it may be issue with cofig or Isdn lines .

Hi Tung,

You need to select call type as audio while dialing from remote control or web interface .

from command :

Xcommnad dial number protocol:h320 number:xxxxxx Calltype:audio

I got on more question.

I able to dial out voice call via ISDN. but it can't pick up the incoming call from phone via the ISDN number.

It is the right way because i use SIP to dial out the voice call for ISDN?

Hi

This log shows you are dialing 4 digit number 8100 . Generally PSTN numbers are having minimum 6 digits .

xHistory CallLogs Call 39 RemoteNumber: "h320:8100;x-h320tlph=true"

Can you please confirm 8100 is correct number what you are dialing ?

If Yes then ,

h xHistory CallLogs Call 39 DisconnectCauseValue: 2

*h xHistory CallLogs Call 39 DisconnectCause: "Temporarily Unavailable"

*h xHistory CallLogs Call 39 DisconnectCauseType: RemoteDisconnect

this shows issue either with far end or service provider .

Can you please check with service provider .

Dear Dharmmesh

We have our own PSTN (ISDN BRI- Euro type) system.

It works for ISDNvideo call.

We can make ISDN video call via 8100.

But for audio-only call. got disconnect as the log show.

We use to have a edge 95, with the system PSTN systm it able to make ISDN, video call, and audio only call.

It there log I can get will show more detail?

Here is my ISDN LINK configuration.

the system I am using is C60 with ISDN LINK and SX20 with ISDN Link

Our PSTN system works fine with edge95 with audio only call.
