Can someone please advise a way to "auto-pair" the Cisco Touch Panel if it gets disconnected? We have setup several Touch Panels, paired to Codecs and would like them to automatically establish the pairing relationship if communications get broken with the Codec...is this possible? what configuration should be applied.
At the moment we need to manually re-pair by selecting the codec IP and autheticating the connection...very painful.
Thanks
Matt

Hi Matt,
We have a similar setup, but I have never found a way to auto-pair the panels. Fortunately, ours rarely lose their connection as long as everything stays plugged in.

I opened a system enhancement a while back requesting the ability to pair based on hostname as opposed to IP address and have DNS resolve
the codec's IP address.

From internal aliases I also came to understand that direct pairing versus pairing over LAN would make the touch auto-pair each time [here we use fixed IP address!].
