Recording with the C40

Hi,

We are planning to offer a customer a few C40s with 3rd party recording solution. The recording solution is a capturing software working with a capture card. We connect the second display output of the codec to the PC. I know C40 now supports recorder output. But we need to record only local video not remote audio. Is there a way to change video sources which will being recorded on the recorder output with C40?

your text confuses me a bit: "But we need to record only local video not remote audio.".

Are you aware of the tc-console? The c40 has some limitations in comparison to the c90 and c60.

I never tried it wwith a c40 but maybe you can at least use tc console to learn about the api commands used on

the bigger codecs to set a specific layout and sound setting which suits your requirements.
