Hi all,
We are off on the never ending upgrade and patching path again with the impending release of the x8.2.1 to fix other OpenSSL bug (amongst other things) which are potentially more damaging than the HeartBleed issue of a few months back. A Cisco advisory was sent around a short while ago (18/7/2014) suggesting that bug CSCup25151 will be fixed in x8.2.1. I have just check the download site and this does not appear to be available as yet. Any idea on when this might be?
I am also wondering if any further patches will be required for the C/SX (and other) CODECs running the TC line of software. As far as I can see, bug reference CSCup25163 covers some of these issues in the TC7.1.4 release (already out) but I am assuming that a further release will forthcoming - or do the additional OpenSSL issues (listed for the VCS above) not affect the TC code line?
Cheers
Chris
