Remote Acces to CUCM for telepresence device -

Hi,

In my deployment of remote access I have jabber access (that working fine), and remote access for telepresence devices (that not working). I've tried to register EX90, SX10, Sx20 but without success. From Expressway C logs , I found some repeating error.

edgeconfigprovisioning: Level="INFO" Detail="Failed to find username or token in request."HTTPMSG:

|GET /dHJpdGVjaC5wbA/get_edge_config/ HTTP/1.1

User-Agent: Cisco/TC
Accept-Charset: ISO-8859-1,utf-8
Host: 127.0.0.1:22110
Content-Type: application/x-www-form-urlencoded

Software on devices is TC7.1.4

Any idea wha tcan be wrong ??

CUCM user that have that device assigned.

I atteched screenshot from my SX20 web interface

Hi Tomasz,

Did you find a way to fix this? I have exactly the same situation on my site. Jabber clients works fine with MRA but for SX20 on Expressway-C I received this log:

edgeconfigprovisioning: Level="INFO" Detail="Failed to find username or token in request."

Regards,

Dalibor

i was able to sort out but i think it was on the firewall end...im saying i think cause i cant remember.

what i do remember (and i can try to help since i have access to everything) is that my firewall rules were screwed up and i sorted and i also uploaded the CA onto my SX10 and from there everything was fine and i was able to register fine......BTW the SX10 quality is brilliant :)

thanks and i can help however i am still learning as well

Just info. I succeed to solve the problem. Problem was with sertificates on Exp-C and CUCM. SX20 client on CUCM was configured with TLS, when I change it to TCP everything works fine.

I hope this can help

Hi there,

were you able to find the answer? im having trouble with an SX10 as well with the same error.

appreciate any feedback

thanks

I have the same error with an EX-60 running TC7.2.0 and VCS 8.2.1 with UCM 9.1.2.

Will you be able to upload logs here? Diagnostic logs with developer.xcp and developer.edgeconfigprovisioning set to detail. If not, you will have to open a TAC case.

Here you go.

Are you trying to register it to UCM or VCS? I see that you are using VCS and not Expressways. It looks like the you have ineteng.com as the SIP domain in VCS, have you configured the username/password for the EX90 on this VCS, similar to how you have Movi accounts setup.

UCM via MRA.  the user name is in VCS via TMS.  we were using this for Movi as well before MRA.  The EX-60 MAC is 00506005B3A8.  I also put a start and stop marker in the log.

Start = EX-60 Provisioning Start

Stop = EX-60 Provisioning Stop

The username shouldn't have to be in VCS. When you setup your SIP domain, you specify if that domain needs to have registrations on VCS or CUCM and in your case its set for VCS. Do you have MRA working at all? Can you send me a screenshot of the SIP domains page from VCSC?

I am using it for both VCS and MRA registrations.  I have Jabber clients connecting with no problem (Movi and UCM Jabber).  I can see in the logs where the VCS sends the UDS request to UCM for my login.
