removing the automatic video port limitation on the 8710 for dynamic conferences

When the 8710 is scheduled via CTMAN, the number of available video ports is limited by the number of screens that are booked eg, 3 3010 means only 9 video ports are allowed on a conference. Is there anyway to turn that off? The issue is that if someone want to connect to the meeting and they are not bookable, they can't, unless that limitation is turned off

Hi David,

This is something that should be checked at the CTMAN end.

The api commands that can be sent to TPS from CTMAN has the facility to set the limit of ports ( to do media ports reservation ) on TPS or not,

For example a call booked by TMS will not have this issue, as the TMS does not send any media port resevation command to the TPS

I'll check a bit more on the CTMAN side and communicate asap as I have more details
