Requirements for Cisco Telepresence

Hi Guys,

I am fairly new to cisco telepresence and trying to build a BoM for a customer. I have identified and chosen to use Cisco TelePresence MX300 55 Gen 2 (CTS-MX300-K9).

I need to confirm the following

1. Do I need a CUCM at the back-end?

2. Do I need a gateway between the CUCM and the internet to be able to hold conference with external users and partners

I would really appreciate all the help I can get so I dont miss out any requirement/component

You can deploy it using either CUCM, VCS, or even standalone, although standalone isn't an officially supported deployment.

If you use CUCM, an Expressway-C/E allows for B2B calling with external endpoints.
