We have a MX300 (with firmware 7.0.2) and a beamer in the same room. We want to connect a HP 8570p with Intel HD4000 graphic card with a VGA splitter to the two devices mentioned above. If we connect the laptop seperate to the beamer or MX300 everything works. If we connect both devices to the vga splitter then the MX300 presentation button on the touchscreen is going on and off. On the monitor the text "No signal" is comming on screen and after one or two secconds it is show the screen off the laptop. But if it shows the desktop of laptop on screen it is somekind overlapping and blurry. If we connect the laptop to two external monitors then there is no problem or overlapping/blur.
With a Dell E6510 there are no problems at all. Is the above problem solved with a new firmware 7.2.0?
Looks more like a HP issue since it works as intended when using a Dell.
By the way, upgrading would be a very good idea anyway, considering all the very well documented vulnerabilities in TC7.02 (and others), which means software version like yours have been removed from the download area; http://www.cisco.com/c/dam/en/us/td/docs/telepresence/endpoint/software/tc7/release_notes/software-deferral-notice-tc5-tc6-tc7.pdf

Since yesterday the system is upgraded to 7.2.0 and just tested it with the HP laptop, but stil the same issue. Not really the same because the overlapping and blurry screen doesn't appear right now. Any other options?
If the HP works when connected directly to the MX300, but not when connected through the splitter (if I'm reading your post correctly), then that sort of points to a faulty (or only marginally working) splitter, or one of the cables you're using to connect everything.
