Hello,
What is the best implementation for a SIP trunk between a VCS control cluster and a CUCM cluster (1 Pub + 1 Sub)?
Should we create 2 Sip trunks from CUCM publisher one to VCS control 1 and a second to VCS control 2. On on VCS control 1 (Master) configure 2 neighbors zones one to CUCP Pub and Once to CUCM sub1.
Thanks for your comments and advise.

From CUCM to VCS it depends on where your VCS sits. If you create a single SIP trunk and specify both the IP addresses, the calls are hunted in a round-robin fashion between the two IP addresses. If you do multiple SIP trunks, you can use Route lists and options pings to specify what distribution algorithm needs to be applied to calls. This is a wonderful document that will help you further: https://supportforums.cisco.com/blog/12088366/sip-trunks-and-run-all-active-cm-nodes
For calls from VCS to CUCM, its recommended to have multiple peer addresses on a single zone.

Thanks George,
The idea is to use SIP trunk to VCS control 1. If connectivity is lost then we use the SIP trk to VCS control 2.
I will read the proposed explanation and if still not clear I will ask again :-).
Kind regards,
Ahmed
