SONY PCS-1 compatibility with Telepresence SX20

Dear All,

I have a question related to compatibility between SX20 (CE 8.2) and SONY PCS-1.

I operate  the two units under H.323 protocol and the result was , the audio transferred successfully by two ways but the video was transferred only from SONY to Cisco SX20; we can't transfer the video from Cisco to SONY. Do you have any advices?? Where there is no security rules, no accesslist, no firewall and the two conference units at the same subnet.

As shown in the attachment, SX20 (CE8.2) is compatible with SONY PCS-1

Hi Saeed,

Possibly, Sony PCS-1 receives unsupported resolution H.264 video from SX20(CE8.2).

You can avoid the problem with disabling H.264 on SX20.

1. Go WebUI of SX20 and proceed to Setup > Configuration.

2. Search the keyword "experimental" on top left and find "CapsetFilter" setting.

3. Put "H.264;H.264RCD0;H.264NIL" and save. No restarting SX20 is needed.

Another case, downgrading SX20 to TC7.x version works for the issue. CE8.x supports more various resolutions than before. It results interoperability issue sometime.
