SX10 and SX20 SIP over TLS issue with ASA

HI,

 

There is a problem with SIP over TLS on SX10 and SX20. 

With SIP over TLS connection breaks after 30 seconds. I have read that this is problem because traffic goes over ASA with version 9.1.5 , and maybe its problem connection tracking with TLS. not sure.

Anyway , as i goes back to H323 on SX 10 or SX20 , problme does not exist. Working fine.

 

Does anyone had similar issue with SIP over TLS and ASA ?

Can you try turning off h323 or SIP inspections on your ASA appliance? That is how I fixed the same issue. Thanks, Theo

Calls breaking after X period of time are almost always a firewall issue.

Make sure that all the required ports are configured on your firewall and that any ALG for SIP and H.323 are turned off.
