SX20 IP configuration

Dears,

I have connected SX20 in one switch port and configured a voice vlan on the switch port leaving the Data vlan to default, sx20 is not picking the IP from voice vlan , when i changed the default vlan 1 to vlan 22 my actual DATA  vlan than SX20 took ip from dhcp.

Is it sx20 TP is not considered as a PHONE.

It is but the voice vlan might not be enabled in certain versions (depending on what version you are running). I would look at the configuration on the SX20 and search for Voice vlan in it and make sure its enabled.

Yes i have seen for the voice vlan enabled option.

We typically change the port to a basic "Access Mode" rather than a trunk port... it makes it simiplier

This may not be possible if the SX20 get moved around
