SX20 with 2.5x Camera built-in microphone no audio

Hi,

We have a customer with a freshly delivered SX20 and the 2.5x camera.

As far as the documentation says, the 2.5x cam has two built-in microphones, send the audio input over the HDMI into the codec.

per default the Audio input over HDMI is switched on, which is here the case too.

but there is no audio coming from this SX20.

Unfortunately there is no VU meter for that HDMI input for troubleshooting ....

Does anyone have an idea how to proceed?

Hi,

The built in mirophone in the camera is currently disabled.   It will not work.  You have to use the Cisco Table microphone 20.

Thanks for that update, it explains why it's not working.

- But, are you able to provide any reason, why it is disabled?

We just had planed that camera for a specific scenario at a customer, and i bed i will have to answer that question....
