Hello!

Would anyone happen to know if there is an issue with cutting and terminating, on a euroblock connector, a Table Mic 20 to be be used with an SX80?  Has this been done before?

My understanding is that isn’t possible because of voltage differences. The data sheet clearly states that the SX-80 needs either Mic 60 or the new univerasal table mic (designed specifically to avoid this situation).

Thanks for the response...

The AV vendor had the same concerns with the voltage, but since we were in a bit of a bind we tested it and to our surprise it's working.  Not sure how but it's up.

I was in a jam and did this - and also did get it to work. It is well known within Cisco that the mute circuitry will mess up (which is why it's not supported), so do not consider this a long term solution, it will likely cause you trouble at some point.
