TC 6.0 Password to weak - trying to reset

Hi

We have a Tandburg/Cisco c20 unit and it has TC6.0 on it.  I have been making a few changes and somehow managed to set a password reset on the default admin account.

I know what the current password is, but when I enter a new password, either through the WI or SSH, I am told my new password is too weak.

I have tried combinations of Uppercase, Lowercase, numbers and special characters with varying lengths but every time the password is too weak.

I can't get back in until I have reset this password so I am stuck.

Hi Mark,

seems like strong security mode is enabled on this unit. try to set a password which meets below parameter:

1. minimum 15 characters

2. minimum 2 uppercase alpabetic characters

3. minimum 2 lowercase alphabetic characters

4. minimum 2 non-alphabetic( special) characters

5. no more than 2 consecutive character may be the same.

once the unit accept this password, login to the web interface and inside user management disable the strong security mode.
