Time Zone Tool TMSXE error

Hello all,

Got into a situation while running the Time Zone Tool on a TMS 14.3.2.  The customer has the TMSXE option installed, but they don't use it.  The Time Zone Tool throws an error when checking for TMSXE mailboxes (see attached), but after acknowledging the error the Tool's window opens to what would be the list of conferences that need to be corrected (if any).  My suspicion is the error is thrown because there isn't any TMSXE data despite the key being entered.

I guess my question is, is the TZ Tool properly scanning for bad conferences in the tmsng database after the TMSXE error?  In this scenario there are no conferences in the list after acknowledging the error.  Just want to make sure that the customer isn't getting a false negative and missing conferences that need to be corrected.

Bob,

The TZ Tool should show all conferences, no matter if they are good or bad.  It will list all conferences with their current TZ and give you the option to change the TZ, I will email you an example migration I did for one of our elites.

If they are not using TMSXE, I would have them uninstall it from the server.  If it is not installed, there must be a registry key or program folder that the TZ Tool is seeing.

Appears you might be running into bug CSCuh83558, one of your errors match what's noted in the details.

Thanks for the replies.  The TMSXE option was installed on the TMS at the time of the call, but it has since been removed.  No other TMSXE stuff is involved.
