TMS CCC not opening active conferences

I'm running TMS 14.4.1 Java Ver SE8 U25

It seems like it takes forever to load when I do click on CCC, Java always asks for Authentication login info (which is annoying since I am logged on as Administrator). When I try to load an active conference it hangs. I can bring up Finished conferences no problems.

This really seems to be a recurring problem.

Any help appreciated.

Actually it hangs with Adhoc conferences when escalated to Multiway. Even if the conference is open it freezes and I have to back out of CCC to regain control of TMS.

Hi Steve,

I think you can firmly point your finger at the new Java version - if you downgrade back to Java 7, you'll find things all work fine again - or possibly even just changing PCs, browsers, or whether you access TMS via http or https.

The new Java version seems very picky and can give dfifferent results on nearly identical PCs side by side.

There have been a few reports of this already in the forums - one example is: tms-and-java-problem

I've got a bunch of PCs here, and with Java 8, they all behave differently with CCC, Graphical Monitor, Bridge Utilisation Report, etc - some work on some bits, some on other bits, some via http only, some only via https - it seems random what problem each one will come up with - and then that problem sticks with that PC.

The quick work around to fix them - downgrade to Java 7.
