Touch 10 loses config (connected via lan-cable to codec sx20)

Hello together,

maybe anyone can get in help....

The connected Cisco Touch 10 loses configuration and have to be new configured

If this is a connection problem ( bad cable or unstable cabel connect) why does the touch loses their complete config? after a disconnect?

Cisco TelePresence SX20 - Running S/W version: 'ce9.3.2 748b9742af6 2018-05-28'

Is there perhaps something else happening on your network that could cause the disconnect such as a device with a duplicate IP address (of the codec or the touch)?

If they are rebooting and coming up on different addresses, then this can be the cause of them unpairing.

One way to help would be to make sure that your devices have consistent IP addresses on them (either via statically assigning them, or creating DHCP reservations) so they are always on the same addresses.

I also notice that you are running an old software load (CE9.3.x) on them - I'd suggest you upgrade to a more recent software load (CE9.7.1 is the latest and recommended version as at the time of this post).
