Upgrade VCS via TMS to X7.1

Hi outhere,

With "Software manager" in TMS 13.2 there seem to be a problem. Uploading s42700x7_1_0.tar.gz doesn't work.

Is there a known issue?

How can I upgrade VCS without TMS?

Hope anyone can help

You can upgrade the VCS directly by logging in to the VCS web page, and going to Maintenance --> Upgrade and uploading the new file there.

Adding to software upgrade from web GUI (from maintenance > upgrade), Cisco recommends taking system backup before software upgrade.

The system backup file can be create and download from web GUI as well (maintenance > backup and restore).
