Uploading software bundles to TMS software manager

Hi,

I'm trying to upload software bundles (cmterm-ce8_3_1.k3.cop.sgn) to TMS software manager but TMS can only accept certain file extensions.  Can I just zip this bundle and upload or will that not work when trying to upgrade the software on an endpoint.

Is the endpoint you're trying to upgrade managed by CUCM or TMS?

COP files are used to upgrade endpoints managed by CUCM and is uploaded to your CUCM's TFTP server, whereas if your endpoint is managed by TMS, you should use the .pkg file.

All my endpoints are currently managed by TMS, however I'm preparing to migrate to CUCM. 

I had assumed there was a "type" of software needed on your endpoint to register to CUCM, but I understand now.
