VCS Control with AES/without AES

Can somebody explain me the exactly different betwenn both versions? If i install the AES version am I bound to use the encryption?

The differences between the versions are due to export control restrictions to certain countries from USA of cryptography technology.

As Guy mention, VCS has two different software due to export control restriction for certain country similar approach as other Cisco TelePresence Software (i.e s52000tc5_0_1 and s52001tcnc5_0_1 for TC-series Endpoint).

• s42700x is software that support AES.
• s42701x is software that does not support AES.

Please note that release key for these two software is different even software version (x_y_z, i.e X7.0.1) is same.
