Hi,
Anyone knows what can cause a failed resolution when making a call through a DNS zone?
The DNS configuration is OK so I have no idea what might be causing the resolution to fail.
Kind regards

Maciek,
which version of VCS software is this?
In X7, the diagnostics log (When in DEBUG mode) will output DNS lookup data, and similarly in X5 and X6, a 'netlog 2' will also have this, so if any of these logs are running when you are attempting to place a call, you should be able to read out some useful information about the DNS lookup and call setup in general.
How is your DNS zone configured? Have you made sure that 'Include address record' is set to 'No' for the DNS zone?
For calls to which domain are you seeing DNS lookup failures? Have you manually verified that SIP and/or H323 SRV records have been set up for this domain?

Hi everyone,
The problem occured to be incorrect SRV records in the DNS configuration.
Thanks Andreas.
Kind regards
Maciek
