VCSE fallback alias problems.

A weird case I need some help with.

Endpoint is registered with SIP and H323 on VCSC.

The URI of the endpoint is set as fallback alias on the VCSE.

When one dials the IP of the VCSE it starts calling on the endpoint, but when one answers the call gets disconnected.

One can dial the URI of the endpoint directly with SIP and H323 without issues.

Wondering if anyone has an idea what could be the cause of this behaviour...

Regards, Jan Frode Hansen

Which versions do you run? (VCS-C, -E, Endpoints)

Any kind of additional application layer gw / fw / l3-h323/sip-aware device in the call path?

Did you check that the traversal zone is properly up and that also the sip2sip call and h323-2-h323

uri calls are really staying in protocol?

It might be handy to see a debugs/traces from the endpoints and the vcs´s
