VCSE or EXP-E External Communication with F5 Load Balancer

Hi,

Can we have F5 load balancer placed after Expressway-E external interface, and enable the internal and external communication through F5. F5 Load Balancer will have a NAT public IP address configured. Can we configure the same F5 public IP address as Expressway-E NAT Address.

is this solution workable and does Cisco support the same.

Hi Nikhil,

Short answer would be negative, Expressway-E / VCS-Expressway would require a true 1 to 1 NAT for each Expressway.

Looking through the deployment guides, it didn't mention the possible use of a NLB in the configuration.  However I did fine one item in bug search, CSCuc09457 that hopefully it might help.
