Hi All,

We have two locations: one with CCM4 cluster and other with CUCM7. The clusters connected with Intercluster trunk (no GK).

Voice calls are working properly for all types of phones. We have problems with video calls from/to CUCM7 SIP phones to video endpoints on CCM4.

Checked calls:

1. 7985(CCM4) - 7985(CUCM7) = voice and video

2. CIPC+CUVA(CCM4) - 7985(CUCM7) = voice and video

3. 7985(CCM4) - 9971(CUCM7) = voice, NO VIDEO

4. CIPC+CUVA - 9971(CUCM7) = voice, NO VIDEO

5. 7985(CCM4) - Tandberg MXP150 (CUCM7) = voice, NO VIDEO

6. 7985(CUCM7) - Tandberg MXP150 / 9971 (CUCM7) = voice and video

Any ideas? Is it able to work?

Without checking the data sheets for all the combinations you mention, I think that 9971 supports H.264 whereas CUVA and 7985 are H.263, so maybe they can't negociate a common video codec.

Also CCM4 is very old now, and doesn't have the video features of newer UCM versions. UCM 8.6 is a great version for video support.
