Jonathan,

First of all thanks for providing the best reference document for Video call through H323 router.

I am still having issue with the Video calls working both direction:

1) Video calls gets connected over PSTN , I do see 6 channels being selected as part of 384 K calls but

both end point meaning

The Video end point connected to PSTN and the Video Phone @ Cisco CUCM-9971 : there is no Video streaming.

It stays black screen.

Hardware in use for this setup

---------------------------------------------

1) 2951 ISR Router

Cisco IOS Software, C2951 Software (C2951-UNIVERSALK9-M), Version 15.1(4)M2, RELEASE SOFTWARE (fc1)

2) PSTN (PRI Provided by AT&T enabled for Data and Voice)

3) CUCM 8.5.1

Output for an active video call :

#sh call acti vid com

Can you suggest why the Video streaming is not happening both way and what to look for to get this working.

Thanks for your kind attention.

I do have a TAC case opened still on this issue.

If you follow the documentation suggested by Jonathan, Voice call should work without any issue.

If there is problem with Video then I am also awaiting a response specific to Video . As in my case calls are getting connected as Video but there is no Video streaming.

I am awaiting response from Jonathan or any other expert out there on this...

Thanks

Hello,

I have the same problem like Manipandey. Audio is working, but no video.

I use two EX60 registered via sip to a CUCM 8.6.2a. The CUCM is connected to two ISR 2811, which are connected back-2-back via VWIC2-1MFT-E1

the first EX60 calls the second EX60 via the H.323 Gateways. (it's only for testing).

EX60 --> CUCM --> H.323 GW1 --> primary-net5 Link --> H.323 GW2 --> CUCM --> EX60

Under show call active video compact I see, that G.722-56 is used for Audio, but the video codec is none.

on both Routers I've configured a Voice Class with the video codecs H.261, H.263, H.263+ and H.264

Any ideas?

thx

Nico

Hello,

I did some testings today. The reason, why video is not working is the communication between the CUCM and the H.323 GW. But I don't know why. I tested the Communication between the CUCM and a Cisco IOS Gatekeeper.

EX60 --> CUCM --> IOS GK --> EX60

Audio is working fine, video don't.

After that I implemented a VCS as an interworking device between the CUCM (via SIP) and the H.323 Gateway and now it works!

My problem is, I need connect the CUCM directly to the H.323 GW, because I have two CUCMs (one Live System for voice only and one for Videotesting). To connect a H.323 GW to a VCS I have to register it to the VCS (the VCS is the GK for the H.323 GW). after that, the H.323 GW blocks incoming calls from the "voice only" CUCM.

Does anybody have an idea?
