Dear all,
In the Cisco Download page, we have found there are TC5.1.4 and TCNC5.1.4, we would like to know the meaning of TCNC?
Best Regards,
Ben

It is illegal for Cisco (and the rest) to export software with encryption to some countries, hence the NC option.

Does using TCNC instead of TC have any instance on call quality or the way a call is handled?

Steve, no it does not. On TC software you can set the endpoint to not encrypt ever, force it on, or automatic (encrypt when it can, connect without it if it cannot). On TCNC it basically removes the last two modes, the endpoint does not support encryption. It does not affect call quality or routing at all.
