Apologies as this is probably in the wrong subject, but it was the closest I could think of. Hopefully it should be a lot simpler than most questions here!
I'm just going over the Cisco Webex Room Kit Plus trying to figure out what wireless capabilities it has for security reasons. In our service we can't have any wireless functionality enabled in any equipment we supply. The WiFi can be disabled, but I'm curious about the Cisco Intelligent Proximity feature. Does this work completely through WiFi or is there something else at play that can't be fully disabled?

Proximity uses a ultrasound signal (high frequncy, not noticeable by humans) to broadcast connection adress and tokens. The client (computer or other device) then connects with that information over the network ( wireless or wired) to the endpoint.
this feature can be disabled.

Hello,
You can totally disable both Proximity and Ultrasound by web interface: Setup->Configuration->Proximity.
or
by cli configuration:
xConfiguration Proximity Mode: Off
Hope this helps,
G

There is a specific "Cisco Webex Room Kit Plus – NO RADIO" option that you can order - that way you won't have to worry about "disabling" anything.
