During dial zoom meeting , why I can not type English character password in cisco webex room kit plus precision 60?

I belive its because the videokonferens system speaks SIP or H.323 protokoll to the zoom meeting connector ( on prem or cloud). DTMF (dial tone keys) is the only way of sending pin codes in those kind of calls.

zoom has a bunch of DTMF commands one can use in a call

You can dial as part of the dial string to include alpha passwords… however after the call is connected you are limited to DTMF.  

Example…. MeetingID.AlphaPass@zoomcrc.com

It means you can type an alpha password as long as it’s in the dial string. Once connected you are limited to DTMF tones (numeric passwords) - Zoom does offer both so you could use that alternate pin code, however you can use the alpha as long as it’s in the dial string.
