TelePresence 端末が Audio Delay を検知し、WebUI の Maintenance > Diagnostics に WARNING (警告) メッセージとして表示されることがあります。

WARNING: External Audio Delay
High delay in audio loop detected. Highest delay: xxms. These seems to be an audio delay introduced by the external equipment connected to the TelePresence device. This may reduce the quality of your TelePresence experience. Example: If an output TV/monitor is connected, try to find a low latency mode, usually this mode is called gaming or PC.
WARNING: Monitor Delay
High latency in monitor detected. Delay is xx ms. This can cause the audio and video to appertains out of sync with each other. Please check if your monitor has a low-latency or 'gaming mode'.
WARNING: Echo Cancellation Delay
High delay in audio loop detected. Highest delay: xxxms. This TelePresence system has been setup in a non-optimal manner and is not providing an optimal TelePresence experience. The delay in the output path is currently so high that the HDMI audio output arrives outside the time envelope where the acoustic echo canceler is operating. The system has automatically corrected this, at the cost of added delay on the output. If the output TV/monitor has a gaming mode or low latency mode it should be activated.
これらのメッセージが表示されるのは、端末から出力された音声が、同端末のマイクに入力されるまでの時間が長くなっている場合です。
一般的には、遅延時間が数百ミリ秒以上など長くなると、エコーキャンセル機能で対応可能な範囲を超え、以下のような問題が生じる可能性があります。
- 接続先からの音声が再度端末から接続先に送信される
- コール中に音声ノイズが発生する
- コール中の音声に音切れが生じる
