WAAS の CLI には、IOS と同じ wrte erase コマンドがありますが、このコマンドでは完全な初期化は行えません。
WAAS の初期化には restore factory-default コマンドを利用します。
restore factory-default コマンドに preserve basic-configuration オプションを付けると基本的なネットワーク設定
が維持されるので、初期化後も WAE への telnet が可能です。
逆にこのオプションを付けなければコンソールからのネットワーク設定が必要となります。
初期化後のログインアカウントは admin 、パスワードは default です。
またこのコマンドを実行すると HDD の RAID の再初期化が行われ、初期化完了に5,6時間程の時間を要します。
WAE512#restore factory-default preserve basic-config This command will wipe out all of data on the disks and all of the CLI configurations except basic network configurations for keeping the device online.
