What vCenter Privileges does UCSD require to use vCenter as a cloud?

And can someone point me to the document that contains this information.

Yes using Administrator role is the easy answer. I prefer to subscribe to the Principle of Least Privilege.

I cannot seem to find anything in the documentation (Servers - Unified Computing - Cisco UCS Director - Cisco) that defines the requirement. Maybe I missed it, entirely possible.

Yes I have looked in the vSphere Management Guide and the UCSD Administration guide, etc.

Hi Clint,

UCSD expects full administrator privileges to provide full discovery, management and orchestration capabilities across ESXi Clusters, Datastore & Datastore Clusters, Stadard & DVSwitches, Network portgroups, VM Provisioning etc. UCSD provides RBAC control through which you can restrict UCSD users what they can perform on your virtual infrastructure.

I am writing a design for a customer and know I will get push back so am looking for official Cisco documentation I can refer to.
