  1. I want to confirm if there is additional licenses fee required if I were to add another language later to the same CUE,

eg Canadian French (CUE-LANG-FRC)??

I have check this  link about Adding or Removing Languages in CUE

http://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/td/docs/voice_ip_comm/unity_exp/rel8_6/install/CUE_86_install/nuinstall.html#wpxref10293

No mention of additional language fee.

  1. What is involved  to add languages in the existing CUE?  Do you need a special license key? OR it is plainly a change in configuration?

Thank you in advance for your clarification.

Paul

I faintly remember doing this without involving any license, and I am pretty sure it doesnt need license.

But to be sure, refer to below link, your module is listed to be entitled to 5 concurrent languages for the module license, it doesnt say 5 licenses for 5 languages.

Refer here:

http://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/td/docs/voice_ip_comm/unity_exp/rel8_6/install/CUE_86_install/nuinstall.html#wp1121988

Installing Additional Languages

Prerequisites

The following information is required for installing languages:

URL of the FTP server.

Restrictions

You are limited to two concurrent languages with an AIM2-CUE module license.

You are limited to five concurrent languages with an NME-CUE, ISM-SRE-300-K9, SM-SRE-700-K9, SM-SRE-710-K9, SM-SRE-900-K9 or SM-SRE-910-K9 module license.

Hello Paul,
I checked the ordering guides and CCW and can confirm to you that no additional fees are there for adding or removing languages in CUE.

From the ordering guide page 17/26:
"…. Up to five languages may be ordered with any of the modules. Multiple languages are provided at no additional cost."

All ordering guides can be found at this shortcut URL http://cs.co/COG

Also, there are no spare add-on licenses for the languages, which proves there is no need to place an order for Canadian French. Just download the language pack from the Cisco website and install it as per the documentation link you’ve sent.

Hope that helps
Mohamed
