We just implemented our new cisco voip system. What i cant figure out is how we can get our anonymous hotline configured on it.
we need to make sure the calling party number/name is not seen or left
there is no physical phone so i assume it would be a cti route point
wanted to have the VM go to an email.
I did have it set up but can't get it to hide the calling name/digits

Lets start by mentioning what call control agent you have and version, you always need to provide that info when asking for help on CSC
You mention CTI RP, so I assume it's CUCM.
If you configured a PLAR, just configure the calling party to restricted in the TP so it doesn't show up

So i created a PLAR and tested it and its still not stripping the digits off

Have you configured the TP to set the calling line presentation to restricted???

The more I think about it all we want to do is strip the CID when it comes in and goes to VM for our hotline number.would this still be achieved with the PLAR config
