Hello,
We just upgraded to Call Manager 7.0.2(a) from Call Mgr. 4.0.
In Call Mgr. 4.0 we had the attendant console installed on the receptionist machine. She was able to receive and transfer calls within the program. Ever since the upgrade she has lost the capability of doing both. I have downloaded and installed the attendant console plugin from call mgr. 7.0. and configured it to point to the new CCM servers, but she continues to get "Initialization of Call Control Failed. Retrying..." and cannot transfer calls using the software.
Big difference between our current and previous Call Mgr systems is that our current call mgr. is set up for LDAP authenitication...the previous version was not. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Hello,
In CCM4.0, the phone was associated to the ac user account. In 7.0, the attendant console phone should be associated to the ACDeviceAuthentication user account.

Thank you, I actually found the ac account under user mgmt/application user. Once I associated the device to it it started working again.
