Attendant Console Upgrading

We are planning to upgrade the Cisco CUCM v7.1(3) to latest v8.x, the current attendant console is ARC Enterprise Premium v5.1.1, as far as my research, ARC Enterprise Premium v5.1.1 was released on March 2010, and was changed to the name as ARC Premium v5.1.1 on June 2010, and have the latest ARC Premium v6.0.0 released on Jan 18th 2013, also from Cisco I found the latest Cisco CUAC Premium and Enterprise v8.x/9.x.

Some questions need your help to clarify:

• Can you please confirm our Current running ARC Enterprise Premium v5.1.1 is now called ARC Premium v5.1.1?
• option1: From ARC Premium v5.1.1 upgrade to Arc Premium AC 5.1(4) then to the latest ARC Premium 6.0.0?
• option2: From ARC Premium v5.1.1 upgrade to the latest Cisco CUAC Premium or Enterprise v8.x?
• Third option for the AC upgrading?

Thanks,
Richard

Richard,

Indeed it is the same, it was just rebranded. In fact, in V6 it is now called Arc Pro

• option1: From ARC Premium v5.1.1 upgrade to Arc Premium AC 5.1(4) then to the latest ARC Premium 6.0.0?

You would need to speak to Arc (maybe via a partner if one was used for the purchase) for advise on upgrading Arc

• option2: From ARC Premium v5.1.1 upgrade to the latest Cisco CUAC Premium or Enterprise v8.x?

You cannot upgrade Arc to CUAC without making a new purchase and doing a new installation
