Hi,
I'm using DRS for CUCM/ CUC application backup.
I'd like to backup the CUCM and CUC VM with Veritas Netbackup 7.x via snapshots.
My CUCM / CUC version are 11.X.
When Netbackup is backuping the VM, the ping of the CUCM / CUC is KO and all phones are lossing the connexion with the CUCM (registration in progress).
My questions are :
- is it a normal bahaviour ? (probally not !!) and why a network disconnexion/isolation ?
-When I'am backing ther VM, they are not stopped : the Informix DB is open : will it be a problem when I 'll have to restore the snapshot ?
- won't it be a better way to stop the VM, backup via a snapshot and then restart the VM ? if so, how can I plan a stop / restart scheduled ?
I try to find informations about it, but no success..
