Hi Everyone,
I have a C220M3BE which come preloaded with ESXi 5.0.
I've come to notice that every 10-12hours the VM Host would reload/reboot.
When I login to vSphere and check the Event Tab, I see a lot of firewall rule changes, and then I see 'Host Boot'
Where are these firewall changes coming from? sounds to me like it's a scheduled task or something.
I have updated VMWare Tools just in case but the reboots keep happening.
I also notice that even though I have configured the VMs Startup/Shutdown, when the host reboots the VMs never get started...
It's driving me insane....
Regards
Felix

Hi Jim,
We got a totally new server from Cisco.
Cisco troubleshoot the server for us, and could not find anything that would cause the reboot.
Changed various hardware parts of the server with no luck.
Finally replaced the server entirely

Hi,
Does the CMIC report any errors/faults?
Have you also ensured the UCS server has latest firmware?
