Can i host CUCM 11.5 on Azure cloud services and is it supported by Cisco ?

I am looking to host CUCM 11.5 on Azure cloud. Does CUCM support it ? I am not aware what hardware Microsoft is using in back ground.

Does Cisco support for troubleshooting in Azure cloud ?

At this time no public cloud IaaS services (Azure, AWS, etc.) are supported for UCM or other hybrid-enabled on-premises applications (except for Cisco Meeting Server which supports AWS).

More business and technical factors behind this than just hardware.

What’s driving desire for Azure over going full SaaS via Cisco Spark/WebEx/HCS?

Hello,

Has there been any update on this?

Thanks

No change to current support policies.

Is there any projected support for hosting UCM in IaaS cloud services? Is it at least on the roadmap?

Sam

  Nothing for that piece, AWS on VMware is the immediate priority.

@Sam…

UCM and IMP 12.5 will allow “VMware Cloud on AWS” (VMC-AWS) as extension of caveated support for specs-based-3rd-party infrastructure.

If you’re a partner see recent VoE/PIW webinars. Support policies will be updated closer to CSR 12.5 FCS.

For contractual reasons my organization must use MS for cloud services. Is there any update or roadmap for Cisco to support CUCM (and various other UC services like IMP and UCCX etc) in Azure?

Roadmap questions are NDA and cannot be discussed in a public forum. You would need to reach out to your SE/AM for this.
