can I use A-FLEX-3 to license CUCM version 14 ?

I have CUCM version 14.0.1.13900-155 and I ordered A-FLEX-3 license that include A-FLEX-SW-15-XU-K9.

do I have to upgrade CUCM from version  14.0.1.13900-155 to version 15 ?

While it is recommended you upgrade, your flex subscription includes version 14. From a smartnet perspective, when you look at Smart Software Licensing portal, It is really called the same license for version 12 through 15.

Flex licensing is version agnostic and works with any version.

You can stay on 14SU3 if you prefer. However, upgrading to 15 is required because the underlying Linux CentOS used by 14 has reached EOL. Moving to 15 is recommended for this reason, as 15 uses Alma Linux.
