Hi,
We have recently deployed Cisco Jabber for Windows 9.0 in our UC. I have a query that previously we are using CUPC 8 in which if we are using it in desk phone mode we are getting video call options, but if we are using Cisco Jabber for Windows 9.0 in desk phone we are not getting video call option ?
Does Cisco Jabber for Windows 9.0 in desk phone mode supports video calling ???
Thanks in advance...
Aditya

Hi
No, it does not support video in desk phone mode. Only in softphone mode in the first release.
The next release will apparently have this feature... but I wouldn't advise holding your breath.

Hi
There's no document that lists all the things that are 'missing' AFAIK.
My list so far:
No option to enable 'meetings' status without goign to CUpuser web page!
No video on desk phone calls
Cannot add contacts who are not CUPS users
And from what I've read around the place, these possibly apply:
No CUPS failover support
Weaker application support (Outlook/Sharepoint only?)
SSO Only supported with Webex/Cloud, not on prem/cups
no SRTP/TLS support
