Hi. Ive come accross an issue after upgrading Unity Connection to 8.6 and there seems to be a documented fix. I wouldnt mind some input/feedback before I go ahead.
This is my LDAP intergration status:
The radio button is greyed out and I need to change it in order to get jabber + unity integration working properly. Im assuming becasue:
This user is integrated with a Cisco Unified Communications Manager end user. Some fields may be disabled
The document here tells me I need to export the users to a csv then reimport them overwiting/fixing this ldap intergration. My question is does this actually work? Im going to try on some test accounts but Ive learned not to trust cisco documentation.

Hi
Yes, it works... I've done it once.
I think I ended up making up a simplified CSV that contained just a few core fields and then letting the rest of the info sync in from LDAP next sync, but the documented procedure is OK.
Regards
Aaron
