We currently have a main phone line (309-473-2322) that just rings directly to our secretaries. I would like to replace that main line with a call handler so that incoming calls hit that call handler first and redirect some calls based on the options we will set up in the call handler. I actually already have the call handler set up I'm just struggling with the process of removing the original main line number then reclaiming that number as the call handlers number. If I recall correctly I go in to call 'transalation patterns and delete the pattern for the current mainline, then I will be able to reclaim that number for the call handler. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Yes, delete/modify your current call routing and simply assing the DID to a CTI RP with that DID with CFA to VM.
